Dorothee Pesch (born 3 June 1964, Düsseldorf, Germany), poznatija kao Doro Pesch ili Doro, je nemačka hevi-metal pevačica, koja je započela svoju karijeru u nemačkom hevi-metal bendu "Warlock".
Nakon raspada Vorloka, Doro je ostala sama kao jedini originalni član benda. Obzirom da nije smela koristiti ime benda u sopstvene svrhe, odlučila se koristiti svojim privatnim imenom u nastavku karijere. Uzela je ime "Doro" i tako se i zove sam peti album benda.
Danas, Doro je samostalna pevačica i živi u Njujork Sitiju. Album iz 2004 godine "Classic Diamonds" bio je u kombinaciji sa "Classic Night Orchestra" na kome su prerađene neke od ranih pesama sa bendom Vorlok. Zadnji album pod nazivom "Fear No Evil", izdat je 2009 godine.
Biografija
Prvo izdanje koje je Doro objavila, bio je demo snimak sa 7 numera, koje su rađene sa jednim od njenih ranijih bendova "Sneakbite", 1980 godine. Godine 1981, Doro postaje član benda "Beast", ali već 1982 godine napušta bend i pridružuje se bendu "Warlock". Međutim, nakon četvrtog albuma benda "Triumph and Glory" i nakon brojnih izmena u postavi, bend prekida sa radom i Doro kao jedini član ostaje da nastavi sa karijerom. Uzima ime "Doro" i peti album benda promoviše kao svoj prvi solo album pod imenom "Force Majeure".
Njen ugovor od deset godina sa kućom "Polygram", istekao je 1995 godine, nakon čega potpisuje za "WEA" (sadašnji "Warner Music Group"). Iste godine, Doro uzima učešće u nemačkom televizijskom programu "Verbotene Liebe" (Forbidden Love) i nakon numere "Love Me Back", na turneji 1998 godine, Doro prekida ugovor sa "WEA" i potpisuje za "SPV/Steamhammer". Takođe potpisuje i "U.S. Dogovor". Godine 2000 dolazi nova balada koju peva u duetu sa Lemijem (Lemmy Kilmister), pod nazivom "Alone Again" a koja se nalazi na albumu "Calling the Wild".
2001 godine bila je gošća na "Wacken Open Air" festivalu na kome je predstavila pesmu "Too Drunk To Fuck" sa "Holy Mosses". Godine 2002, komponovala je pesmu "Fight" za svoju prijateljicu Ređinu Helmiš (Regina Halmish). 2003 godine, udružila se sa "Udo Dirkschneider", kao "U.DO. feat. Doro Pesch" i objavila baladu pod nazivom "Dancing With an Angel". Nastup uživo imala je neposredno nakon toga, na "Ministry-Antella" u Florerensu (Italija), tačnije 25. marta 2006 godine sa Jorn Lande gde su pevali numeru "All We Are".
2004 godine, na festivalu " Abba Mania Show of RTL Television", u društvu Dirk Bach-a, izvodi numeru "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme". Iste godine na "Wacken Open Air" festivalu, u duetu sa Bayley Blaze-om (Iron Maiden), izvodi klasičnu verziju numere "Fear of the Dark" (Iron Maiden), gde dominiraju violine i akustične gitare. Kakogod ovo zvučalo i koliko dobro bilo, fanovima Iron Maiden-a se ova improvizacija nije dopala.
Nakon brojnih nastupa i objavljivanja raznih singlova i brojnih dueta pesama, kao što su "Big City Nights" (Scorpions), "Who I Am", "Killed by Death", Doro je nastavila svoju uspešnu solo karijeru i nastavlja sa radom i dan danas.
Takođe jedan od njenih velikih uspeha, smatra se 2008 godina i "Magic Circle Festival", ana kome je u duetu sa Tarjom Turunen (ex Nightwish), otpevala numeru "The Seer", koja se pojavila na istoimenom limitovanom EP-ju (singl albumu).
